Congratulations, and well done to Tasshi (formerly Shihan) Glen Archer on passing his Rokudan Grading earlier today. Tasshi Glen has asked we pass on his thanks to his assistants: Dai-Sempai Grant Ahier (pictured left) who partnered up for self-defence applications, and Tasshi Alan Stevenson (pictured right) for his assistance as ceremony musician. Dai-Sempai Grant Ahier, Tasshi Glen Archer, and Tasshi Alan Stevenson Thanks also to Renshi Sam Oliveri and Dai-Sensei Tony Del Vecchio who helped make the event so much more inviting to the high-ranking guests.

We have to let you know how well our higher ranked coloured belt students did today with Josh, Kit Kat, Deklan, and Lars all completing 50 push-ups, sit-ups, and squats in one block this morning during warmup. We broke them into teams of two - one student coaching the other, encouraging and cheering their partner through to completion. Not only that, after a drink break they did two rounds of 50 roundhouse kicks against kick shields, and 7 x 1 minute rounds of sparring. … and if you were out and about this morning - you’d have felt the heat and humidity. Future Black belts being forged in a cauldron, no less! We’re so proud of them all! #karate #RoadsToGrading

Hey Everyone, Isn't it great living in Queensland where we seem to have #StopTheSpread ! With the state permitting a return to community sport this weekend, classes are on again from 6.30pm Monday 23 August at the PCYC Zillmere. Check out our currently scheduled classes on our Events page. Tap'n'pay on-site or get your pass through our TeamApp store. $15 per class until the end of August.  September discount passes available shortly. Hi Everyone, Due to the COVID lockdown that’s in force until Sunday afternoon evening, our classes this week have had to be cancelled. Our next class is planned for Monday 9th August. I’ve discounted our monthly passes to accommodate the reduced number of classes. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon. Shihan Glen
